How To Install Wall Cabinet Side Panels?

Wall cabinet side panels are a simple and easy way to finish off the end of a row of your kitchen. They also can be used as spacers to aid in achieving your desired layout. Make sure to collect all required components and tools necessary prior to your installation.

Wall panels are manufactured in two different styles with and without skirting. Skirting provides an area to hide an LED lights. Installation for both side of panels are the same wall. Kitchen cabinet side panels cannot be installed over a wall rail.

Please follow below steps to successfully install wall cabinet side panels.

Step 1: — Align the side panel with the side of your wall cabinet. Remove black protective corners prior to installation. Check the positioning of the wall cabinet side panels. The wall cabinet side panels should be installed flush with the top and back of the wall cabinet.

Wall panels without skirting will align with the top back and bottom of the wall cabinet. Wall panels with skirting will hang past the bottom of the wall cabinet. Remove protective film prior to installing your wall panels.

Step 2: — Once your side panel is positioned correctly, temporarily attach the side panel to the wall cabinet using c-clamps.

Step 3: — From the interior of the cabinet drill four pilot holes 1.5 inches of the edge and corner of the cabinet. Make sure not to drill through side panel.

Step 4: — Attach the side panel using the provided number 8 by 25-millimeter lid screws. Again, making sure not drill the side panel. Remove c-clamps to complete your installation.
